Normally when we wear high heels, especially red ones, we get a feeling of power and people even say “wow! You look stunning in those shoes”. Isn’t that what happens?
So girls, let’s talk a bit about this “feeling” of power that you get when you wear something that raises your self-esteem.
You all have your value, your essence and your beauty. You are wonderful, you are real princesses but, many times, you don’t see yourself in a positive light. You look down on yourself and think that you are a “nobody”. Perhaps, because of what you see in your family, because your parents didn’t accomplish much and you think you are going to follow the same path. You can’t see yourself being able to accomplish your goals, because everything around you is negative.
You eat, drink and wear the negative thoughts you have so you dress yourself because of those complexes.
You don’t need to wear those amazing red high heels, super make up or a new dress to value yourself because when you take off those shoes, when you remove the make up and take off that beautiful dress, those feelings of frustration will still be there and your self esteem will go down again.
Those red shoes, your boyfriend, your friends, parties or fashion will not be able fill the void inside of you. You need to be transformed from inside of you and there’s only one way for this to happen, that is when you allow God to make all things new in your life.
He will give you the real power that you need to overcome, so you will not need any “red shoes” to love yourself. Be strong and don’t give in to your weaknesses.
“If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” (Proverbs 24:10)
My dear, even if you are suffering as you read this article, be sure that your life can change.
It’s all up to you.
